More about me...

I was born in Zaragoza, Spain, the 3-May-1971. I live (still) with my parents and the rest of my family: one brother (Sergio) and two sisters (Tere and Elena).
I started Physics in 1989, graduated 5 years later, and read my PhD the 12th November 1998. You can take a look at my C.V., if you are interested in.

My subjects of interest in Physics are Statistical Mechanics and Quantum Field Theory (antiferromagnetic systems). To deal with such systems, we make use of a Pentium based machine developed by our group: RTNN , where we run our numerical simulations.
I am also interested in computers and linux.

And below I show you other hobbies.

Real Zaragoza

Football is a passion for me. My heart will always belong to the Real Zaragoza team. You know, the 1995 Champion of the European Cup Winners' Cup (thank you, Nayim).

Here you see a photograph of  the heroes that conquered Paris the 10th of May, 1995. I was there...
A nice (unofficial) site of the Real Zaragoza can be found here.

Cinema

Going to the cinema is another of my favourite activities. I like specially action movies, like the ones featuring Arnold Schwarzenneger. His best works have been, IMHO, those under the direction of James Cameron, which is my favourite director. I enjoyed very much their last collaboration, True Lies, which combines the spectacular action scenes with very nice comedy.

James Cameron is the director of the Terminators I and II, which are fantastic, and also of the second film of the Aliens saga, which is the one that I like more (even though the Ridley Scott film was really great!). His last work, Titanic, will be on the screen next December.

Other (modern) directors that I like very much are Francis F. Coppola (Bram Stoker's Dracula) and Tim Burton ( Nightmare before Christmas).

I do like very much Spielberg movies. Schindler's List, Jaws and Raiders of the Lost Ark are probably his best works, but he demonstrates once again his great talent in The Lost World, in which the T-Rex cause the panic in San Diego streets!! Brrrrr!
Oh, and of course we all keep waiting for the '99 continuation of the Star Wars trilogy.

You can find everything about cinema at this site.
